More and more brides are opting for fun and easy-to-serve sweet tables.
Here’s a great photo from one of my recent bridal clients, displaying her wedding sweet table.
Notice the cupcakes? (Guess who made em!?!)
The new sweet table seems to gravitate away from the big cakes, and fruit platters, and has a greater focus on the miniature, or individualized desserts.
You can build a great sweet table with relatively inexpensive items, like cookies, candy, fruit skewers, and mini cupcakes. But then again, there’s nothing to stop bride from going over the top on this new type of sweet table though.
If you want to stay individualized, but still be lavishly ornate and decadent, you could chose more complex mini desserts such as verrines, or dessert shot glasses, mini french pastries like Macarons or classic Eclairs, mini tarts, mini napoleans ( layered cakes), cake pops, whoppie pies…and the list goes on and on.
There’s no doubt that the mini-driven sweet tables seem to be the trending wave for the new bride.
